Clyde Edwards-Helaire Out Sick Wednesday
one year ago

Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) will sit out of practice on Wednesday because he's feeling under the weather, according to head coach Andy Reid. It would be a surprise if Edwards-Helaire is still feeling too sick to play this Sunday for a Week 2 meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In the season-opening loss to the Detroit Lions last Thursday night, the 24-year-old had six carries for 22 yards and one reception for a seven-yard gain while working behind Isiah Pacheco and pass-catching back Jerick McKinnon. CEH, a former first-round pick, won't have much standalone fantasy value in this Chiefs backfield unless one of Pacheco or McKinnon miss time with an injury.
