Chuba Hubbard A Flex Option In Week 8

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard was impressive in Week 6 with Miles Sanders (shoulder) sidelined, rushing for 88 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Miami Dolphins. Sanders has practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday this week leading up to a Week 8 matchup against the Houston Texans, which tentatively puts him on track to play this weekend. It remains to be seen how the Panthers split the running back touches moving forward but it bears mentioning that Hubbard has outplayed Sanders for the majority of the 2023 season. Hubbard is worth a look as a flex option in Week 8 against a Texans defense that is allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season.
