Christian Watson Not Practicing To Open Week 14

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) is not practicing on Thursday after injuring his hamstring on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. Early reports have indicated he will not be heading to injured reserve, but it is worth remembering that Watson also missed the first three games of 2023 due to an injured hamstring. The timing of the injury is especially frustrating given that the wideout was on a bender after a cold start to the season. Week 13 was the third straight game that Watson found his way to the end zone, scoring two touchdowns on his seven catches for 71 receiving yards. Week 14 is a Monday night game which would give him an extra day to recover, but if he must sit it would boost the value of Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs. "Hopefully sooner than later," head coach Matt LaFleur said when asked when Watson will be able to play.
