Christian Watson Misses Another Practice
one year ago

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. Watson had a helmet during the team stretch period, but when they went outside to practice, he worked off to the side with the rehab staff. He officially was DNP, but it was more work than he got last week. The 24-year-old didn't practice all last week, either, before being held out of the Week 1 win over the Chicago Bears. Watson appears to be making some progress, but it still might not be enough for him to get the green light to make his 2023 debut this Sunday on the road in Atlanta against the Falcons. If Watson misses a second straight game, Romeo Doubs (hamstring) and rookie tight end Luke Musgrave should once again have more opportunities in the passing game.
