Christian Watson Limited On Monday, Dontayvion Wicks Picks Up DNP

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant on the team's estimated injury report on Monday. Meanwhile, rookie wideout Dontayvion Wicks (concussion, knee) was listed as a non-participant. Watson was also on last week's injury report with a shoulder injury, but he was never in any real danger of sitting out of the Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The 24-year-old caught only two passes for 21 yards on Sunday, but one of those two catches gave him his second TD of 2023. He'll remain a boom/bust WR4/flex option in what has been a weak Packers offense. Wicks had a career-high 91 yards on three catches in Week 11, but he could sit out on a short week this Thursday against the Detroit Lions, which would give Romeo Doubs and fellow rookie Jayden Reed more work in the passing game alongside Watson.
