Christian McCaffrey To Resume Historic Season After Bye

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey takes on the fourth-ranked Jaguars defense in Jacksonville on Sunday. Jacksonville's defense has only allowed 79.3 yards per game on the ground and has been the third-stingiest to opposing running backs at 11.8 fantasy points per game. In recent weeks, McCaffrey's fantasy value has been buoyed by his historic touchdown streak, which stands at an NFL-record 17 straight games with a touchdown, including playoffs. Quietly though, he has been a bit inefficient on the ground. He hasn't gone over 100 yards rushing since Week 4 versus Arizona and is averaging 3.4 yards per carry since, far behind his career average of 4.6. Nitpicking aside, CMC's receiving prowess, stranglehold on San Francisco's RB touches, and nose for the end zone make him the near-unanimous overall RB1 this week.
