Christian McCaffrey Doing Work On The Side Friday

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique) was doing work off to the side with the team's training staff during practice on Friday. McCaffrey was held out of Thursday's practice and could go down with his second straight DNP, which isn't great for his chances of suiting up on Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings. The 27-year-old still has another day to practice on Saturday, but it's looking like he might be closer to a game-time decision for Week 7, which will make things tricky for his fantasy managers. CMC is a must-start in fantasy if he's active. If he isn't given the green light to play this week, Jordan Mason and Elijah Mitchell should split backfield duties against Minnesota.
