Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel Have A Chance To Play Monday
one year ago

The injuries to San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique, ribs), wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) are not considered long-term, according to sources. Each player has a chance to be ready for Monday night's game in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings, though the week of practice will help determine who can play and who cannot. The Niners are optimistic on all three players, although the results of CMC's MRI exam have not been revealed. X-rays came back negative on Samuel, and he and Williams are considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers will want to keep a close on McCaffrey's and Samuel's practice status this week. Making things even more difficult for fantasy managers as they decide their starting lineups for the week will be the fact that we may not know definitively on their statuses until just before Monday's game.
