Chris Rodriguez Jr. Leads Washington In Rushing Against Giants
one year ago

Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. had seven carries for 31 yards in Sunday's loss to the New York Giants. Although this wasn't an awe-inspiring performance from the rookie, it was notable considering it was his first real work of the season. With two players ahead of him on the depth chart, most assumed the former Kentucky back would see little usage this season. However, he surprised everyone by leading the Commanders in rushing while splitting work with Brian Robinson Jr. during Week 7. Heading into a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8, he's a name to monitor as a sneaky add off the waiver wire.
