Chris Godwin Will Test Injury In Pre-Game Warmups

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (neck) is anticipated to play in Sunday's NFC South clash with the Carolina Panthers. However, things could change if things don't go well during pre-game warmups. Godwin, currently listed as questionable for Week 13, practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday. But he missed Friday's session, casting doubt on his availability. Nevertheless, the 27-year-old has struggled during the 2023-24 campaign, catching just 53 passes for 606 yards. Even worse, he's only found the end zone once. Yet, Godwin has a favorable matchup against arguably the league's worst team, making him a starting fantasy option in nearly every format imaginable. That said, if he suffers a setback and ultimately gets ruled out, Trey Palmer would be in line for more targets.
