Chris Godwin To Be A Game-Time Decision

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that wide receiver Chris Godwin (neck) will be a game-time decision for Week 13's contest against the visiting Carolina Panthers. Godwin popped up on the Week 13 injury report on Thursday with a neck injury and then didn't practice, so we'd consider him on the wrong side of questionable to play this weekend. The 27-year-old has been the clear No. 2 this year behind Mike Evans with quarterback Baker Mayfield running the offense. Fantasy managers that have Godwin in their starting lineups right now need to have a backup plan in case he's ruled inactive, and the decision becomes even tougher with Tampa playing in the late window on Sunday. If Godwin can't play, rookie Trey Palmer would step up as the No. 2 behind Evans.
