Chiefs Defense Worth Deploying Versus Broncos
one year ago

The Kansas City Chiefs defense has performed very consistently this season. So much so, they reside top five in both average points allowed (16.0) and opponent yards per passing attempt (5.5). Steve Spagnuolo's guys next take on the division-rival Denver Broncos, whose offensive line has already forced quarterback Russell Wilson into 51 pressured throws. Wilson has handled the duress well, however, by cutting down on the danger plays with just four this season after accumulating 36 a year ago (PlayerProfiler). The Chiefs D sacked Denver's signal-caller 10 times in two 2022 games, and their unit gets a nice boost for playing at Arrowhead. Treat KC's D/ST as a plus streaming option on Thursday but don't expect fantasy fireworks, considering they have a league-low one interception and a middling 13 sacks this year.
