Chiefs Defense Remains Rock-Solid In Denver
one year ago

The Kansas City Chiefs are known for their robust offense, but their defense has been just as good in 2023 by restricting opposing offenses to the second-fewest points per game (15.0). Steve Spagnuolo's guys are holding enemy quarterbacks to the second-fewest yards per attempt (5.6), but they have been more lenient on the ground with the sixth-highest yards per carry (4.6). The Denver Broncos offense has identified more with their running game this year, generating the fourth-highest YPC (5.1). K.C.'s unit has exhibited a high floor, though, with at least one takeaway per game and multiple sacks in each contest since game-wrecking pass-rusher Chris Jones' Week 2 return. Despite playing on the road versus a mostly improved Russell Wilson from a season ago, the Chiefs D remains a top-five bet against a Broncos squad letting in the ninth-most average fantasy points to opposing defenses.
