Chiefs Defense Looks To Tee Off On Rookie Quarterback
12 months ago

Despite boasting a Patrick Mahomes-commanded offense, the Kansas City Chiefs defense has been the story of the season for the team thus far. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's unit ranks third in points per game allowed (16.4). They have registered multiple sacks in each outing except the regular-season opener, piled up at least three in six consecutive games, and haven't permitted more than 24 points in any single contest this year. K.C.'s D witnesses an appetizing matchup in Week 12 on Sunday against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders and fourth-round rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell, who enters play with a pitiful 9.3 fantasy points per game, 70.6 passer rating, and 6.5 yards per attempt. Averaging 10.6 fantasy points over their last five games, the Chiefs D/ST is a sure-fire fantasy start in this one.
