The Kansas City Chiefs defense has adopted a bend-but-don't-break mentality throughout 2023's entirety. While they've only recorded one defensive touchdown this year, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's guys have been as dependable as any group while yet to surrender 30 points in any game. The reliable Chiefs D has registered multiple sacks in 11 of their 13 games and rolled into their Week 10 bye with four double-digit fantasy performances in a row plus a fumble recovery in eight of nine pre-bye outings, but they've logged single digits in fantasy scoring for each of their latest four contests. Perhaps a date with New England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe in Week 15 can get K.C.'s unit back in play as a plus streaming choice on Sunday. Even with Zappe's head-turning three-touchdown surge in Week 14, his passer rating remains a paltry 70.0 and his QBR a lowly 27.2 over his 92 pass attempts to date.
