Chase Edmonds Going For MRI Exam
one year ago

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Chase Edmonds (knee), who left the Week 2 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday with a knee injury, is going for an MRI exam on Monday, according to a source. The focus of the tests will be on Edmonds' MCL. Depending on the results of the MRI, Edmonds could need to miss multiple weeks. The 27-year-old has just four carries for 20 yards in the Bucs' first two games of the season, so he hasn't been on the fantasy radar at all. If he's forced to miss time moving forward, it would open up a bigger role for rookie Sean Tucker as the backup to starter Rachaad White. Ke'Shawn Vaughn would also move up the depth chart as the team's No. 3 RB.
