Chase Claypool's Fantasy Value A Mystery Heading Into Week 1

Chicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool will look to begin his pursuit at a bounce back season this Sunday against the Packers. Hope sprang eternal when the Bears acquired Claypool at the trade deadline last season but the dream quickly became a nightmare. Claypool battled injuries and ineffectiveness which bled into an uncertain offseason. Reports have indicated that Claypool has flashed his ability to make big plays during training camp but his role in the Bears offense remains a total mystery. Claypool could be worth a bench stash in deeper formats but his fantasy potential, to start the season, is not a worthy play for Week 1.
