Chase Brown Designated To Return From Injured Reserve
12 months ago

The Cincinnati Bengals have cleared rookie running back Chase Brown (hamstring) to practice by designating him for return from Injured Reserve. The team also signed quarterback Drew Plitt to their practice squad and placed offensive lineman Jaxson Kirkland on the practice-squad injured list. The Bengals now have 21 days to officially activate Brown from Injured Reserve. The 23-year-old fifth-round draft pick landed on IR on Oct. 28. In the five games he played before his hamstring injury, he had just two rushing attempts for six yards while catching three passes for seven yards. When healthy, he will once again serve as RB depth for Cincinnati behind Joe Mixon, Trayveon Williams and Chris Evans. Brown can be ignored in all redraft fantasy leagues.
