Chargers Sign Max Duggan To Their Active Roster
12 months ago

The Los Angeles Chargers signed former TCU quarterback Max Duggan from their practice squad to the active 53-man roster on Tuesday, according to his agent. The move comes with starting quarterback Justin Herbert (finger) headed to Injured Reserve following season-ending surgery to fix a fractured index finger on his right hand on Tuesday. Easton Stick will take over as the Chargers' starter under center and will be making his first career start in Week 15 on Thursday night against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. As a result of Herbert's injury, the Chargers offense will be even more untrustworthy from a fantasy perspective for the final four regular season games. The 22-year-old Duggan will serve as Stick's backup.
