Chargers In Striking Distance Of Landing Jim Harbaugh As Head Coach

The Los Angeles Chargers and Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh are in striking distance of getting a deal done, as Harbaugh is in Los Angeles on Tuesday for another meeting with the team for their vacant head-coaching position. The Chargers reportedly have made a very strong offer financially to Harbaugh and are at a point where they are discussing the general manager position and the rest of the coaching staff. After winning the National Championship with Michigan this past season, Harbaugh has had his sights set on returning to the NFL in 2024 and beyond, and he could be doing it in LA. Harbaugh finished his playing career with the Chargers and had plenty of success coaching in the NFL the first time with the San Francisco 49ers, whom he led to a Super Bowl appearance in his second season with the franchise.
