Chargers Expected To Hire Greg Roman

The Los Angeles Chargers are expected to hire respected offensive mind Greg Roman for a prominent spot on the staff of new head coach Jim Harbaugh, according to sources. The two sides are working out details and are scheduled to meet on Monday. Roman last served as the offensive coordinator for Jim's brother John with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022. He spent six years with Baltimore in his second stint with the team and helped quarterback Lamar Jackson win his first MVP award. Roman also worked under Jim Harbaugh as an associate head coach at Stanford before serving as Harbaugh's offensive coordinator with the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-14, so the two are very familiar with each other. Roman also worked as the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills.
