New England Patriots kicker Chad Ryland is not a viable fantasy option heading into Week 2 versus the Miami Dolphins. The team transitioned from veteran Nick Folk to Ryland at the end of training camp, and the rookie had a quiet debut in Week 1, going 2-for-2 on extra points while never attempting a field goal. On one hand, Ryland was perfect, but it came over a very small sample size. We need a little more evidence of his talent and reliability before inserting him into fantasy lineups.
