Cedric Tillman Bumped Up The Depth Chart
one year ago

The Cleveland Browns dealt wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones to the Detroit Lions on Tuesday for a sixth-round draft pick in 2025. Rookie Cedric Tillman, who was the team's top pick in this year's draft in the third round, will now likely take over for Peoples-Jones for the remainder of the year. However, Peoples-Jones had only caught eight passes this year after catching 61 passes for 839 yards and three touchdowns in 2022. Peoples-Jones was on the field for 83 percent of the offensive snaps this year and had zero drops. The Browns have focused more on Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore, but it hasn't helped that quarterback Deshaun Watson has played in just three full games due to a shoulder injury. For now, Tillman is merely a dynasty/keeper stash.
