Cardinals Place James Conner On Injured Reserve
one year ago

The Arizona Cardinals placed running back James Conner (knee) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, according to a source. He will now miss at least the next four games. Nobody should be outright dropping Conner in fantasy leagues, but you'll need to make due without him for at least the next four games after he suffered a knee injury in the Week 5 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Undrafted rookie Emari Demercado should be in line for lead-back duties in Arizona, at least until Keaontay Ingram (neck) returns from injury (he missed the last two games). The Cardinals also picked up Tony Jones Jr. off waivers and have Corey Clement and Damien Williams on the RB depth chart. Demercado should be a top waiver-wire priority this week in fantasy leagues, especially since we know now that Conner is out at least four games.
