Cam Heyward Returning To Practice On Thursday

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward (groin) returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since suffering a groin injury in Week 1. The three-time All-Pro has been on the Injured Reserve list, and the Steelers now have 21 days to activate him to the 53-man roster. His return to the Steelers' defense would provide a boost to its pass rush and run defense. Heyward posted 20.5 sacks over the last two seasons, and the 34-year-old is one of the team's key leaders. He might not be ready to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8, but his return should be coming in the next few weeks.
