Calvin Ridley Unguardable In Win Against Bills
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley hauled in seven passes for 122 yards and rushed two times for 14 yards in a 25-20 win over Buffalo. It was a major bounce-back effort from Ridley, who was trending downward after 110 total yards in his last three games and a season-low two targets in Week 4. The 28-year-old was dynamic all day long and seems to have regained the confidence of quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Ridley's performance was highlighted by a beautiful pitch and catch late in the fourth quarter on a 3rd and short which resulted in a 32-yard gain. This play helped keep the drive alive and ultimately led to the game-winning score from Etienne Jr. Ridley takes on the depleted Colts secondary next week, a team in which he shredded for 101 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
