Calvin Ridley Shines In Week 1 Re-Debut
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars Wide Receiver Calvin Ridley made his long-awaited (second) NFL debut on Sunday and put on a show in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Colts. The ex-Falcon secured eight of 11 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown, scoring 24.1 points in PPR formats. In his first real-game action in two years, Ridley consistently torched the Colts' secondary and displayed fantastic chemistry with quarterback Trevor Lawrence. In the Jags' second drive alone, Ridley had 41 yards and a touchdown, breaking open on multiple occasions. The former Alabama star also almost scored a long second touchdown but stepped out of bounds, which limited the play to a 29-yard gain. Ridley owners should be absolutely ecstatic with this start, as he looks every bit the part of the top-5 PPR receiver he was a few years back. In what should be a high-scoring affair with the Chiefs next week, the Jags' new top option is locked in WR1 across the board.
