Calvin Ridley Projects As A Risky WR2 In Matchup Against Bills
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley heads into a Week 5 matchup against Buffalo this Sunday. The 28-year-old has been trending downward after a monster Week 1 that saw him finish as the WR6 in PPR scoring. Since then, he has not broken into the top 30 of his position, even with the touchdown last week. Ridley's targets have also decreased each week, suggesting he may be falling out of favor with quarterback Trevor Lawrence, but there is reason for optimism with Ridley in this matchup. Star cornerback Tre'Davious White went down with an Achilles injury last week, so any shadow concerns are no longer in play. This game also features one of the highest over/unders on the week at 48.5, giving the Jaguars an implied team total of 21.5 points. Ridley should see enough opportunities to warrant a start. Look for the former Falcon to have a bounce-back week and finish inside the top-25 WRs.
