Cade Otton A Risky Start For Week 1
one year ago

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton could very well see an uptick in usage this upcoming season. The former fourth-round pick was a surprisingly viable option for the Bucs last season. Otton hauled in 42 receptions for 391 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games (11 starts) with Tampa Bay. Now, Otton is the primary tight end on the roster, which should result in more usage for him. The good news for Otton is that the Bucs don't have many offensive weapons. He might be the third passing option behind wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Although, it remains to be seen how he'll fare with newcomer Baker Mayfield under center. Otton is probably worth stashing in most dynasty leagues because of his upside. He could be a desperation option for needy fantasy managers in deep leagues, but isn't a recommended choice for Week 1.
