C.J. Stroud Throws Two Touchdowns In Win
one year ago

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 13-of-27 passes for 199 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the team's 20-13 win over the New Orleans Saints. It wasn't the most efficient start from the rookie in Week 6. He also ended his NFL streak for most pass attempts (192) without an interception to begin a career with his first quarter pick. But Stroud did hold his own in the victory. The Texans quarterback threw his first touchdown pass to Dalton Schultz in the first quarter and then connected with veteran Robert Woods late in the second to extend Houston's lead. Stroud will head into the Week 7 bye with 1,660 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and one interception.
