C.J. Stroud Still Not Practicing Thursday
11 months ago

Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol and is not practicing for the second straight day on Thursday. Stroud suffered a concussion in the Week 14 loss to the New York Jets and will likely be forced to sit out this Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans as a result. Fantasy managers that have been riding the impressive rookie all year are probably going to be forced to go in another direction for their starting QB in Week 15. Davis Mills, who was the team's primary starter under center the last two years before they drafted Stroud, is now in line to make his first start of 2023 against the Titans. It will be a downgrade for the rest of Houston's offensive skill players, while Mills will only be worth consideration for those desperate in two-QB fantasy leagues.
