C.J. Stroud Lands On Injury Report
one year ago

Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud (shoulder) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday with a right-shoulder injury. Stroud doesn't appear to be in any danger of missing the Week 3 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road this Sunday. The 21-year-old first-rounder has been the most impressive of the rookie signal-callers through two weeks, and he's coming off an eye-opening performance in the Week 2 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in which he threw for 384 yards and two touchdowns on 47 pass attempts. Stroud is certainly going to have his ups and downs in his rookie season in the NFL, but we've liked what we've seen from him so far. He'll remain a low-end QB2 in fantasy with upside in a tougher matchup this weekend in Jacksonville.
