Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has been a surprise fantasy star in his first season. He'll enter a Week 8 matchup against the Carolina Panthers as a solid fantasy QB1. The rookie has finished as a top-12 quarterback in three of the past four weeks while throwing for at least two touchdowns in four of his last five games. The matchup isn't the best for the rookie, facing a Panthers defense that allows just 197.8 passing yards per game. However, Carolina has allowed six passing touchdowns over the past two games, which makes Stroud a strong QB1 play in all formats.
