Buccaneers Designate Chase Edmonds To Return From IR
one year ago

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers designated running back Chase Edmonds (knee) to return from Injured Reserve on Monday, so he can now be activated at any time over the next three weeks. Edmonds was listed as a full practice participant on Monday as well, so there's a chance he could officially come off IR and play this Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills. A sprained MCL has kept the 27-year-old out of action since Week 2. He wasn't a fantasy factor before the injury and won't be now that he's on the cusp of a return. Edmonds had four carries for 20 yards in the first two games of the season and will continue to provide backfield depth behind Rachaad White alongside Ke'Shawn Vaughn and rookie Sean Tucker.
