Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young completed 22 of his 31 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown while adding four carries for 11 yards in a 15-13 win over the Houston Texans in Week 8. In a battle between Young and C.J. Stroud, the first two picks in the 2023 NFL draft, it was Young who emerged victorious in leading Carolina to their first win of the season.
