Browns Sign Deon Jackson To Active Roster

The Cleveland Browns signed running back Deon Jackson to their 53-man active roster on Saturday and elevated linebacker Charlie Thomas III and quarterback P.J. Walker to their active roster from the practice squad. Jackson was cut loose by the Indianapolis Colts in September and latched on with the Browns practice squad. The 24-year-old will give the Browns some more running back depth for Sunday's Week 7 contest against the Indianapolis Colts with Kareem Hunt (thigh) listed as questionable to play. It could be an early sign that Hunt will be ruled out, but fantasy managers will want to check back Sunday morning for final word. Jackson played in two games for the Colts this year and saw 13 carries for 14 yards while catching five passes for another 14 yards.
