Broncos Release Randy Gregory
one year ago

The Denver Broncos released linebacker Randy Gregory on Wednesday, according to sources. The Broncos want to focus on younger players on defense, so they have made Gregory a free agent. Gregory signed a five-year, $70 million deal with the Broncos in free agency before last season and ended up playing in 10 total games (six starts) for the team. In those 10 games, the 30-year-old pass-rusher produced only 11 solo tackles, three sacks, four tackles for loss, nine QB hits and two forced fumbles. In four games (three starts) to begin this year, Gregory had nine tackles (four solo) and one sack for the Broncos.
