Broncos Defense Has Top-10 Appeal Against Chargers

The Denver Broncos defense will be a unit to consider starting in fantasy lineups during championship matchups in Week 17 given their matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. In the last five weeks, the Chargers have been a top-five fantasy matchup for opposing defenses, and they'll be missing receivers Keenan Allen (heel) and Joshua Palmer (concussion) for this one. Even though Denver allowed 70 points to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, they've currently the 11th-ranked defense in terms of total fantasy points in 2023. In the Week 14 win over the Chargers in LA, the Broncos defensive unit held the Bolts to 283 total yards of offense and just seven points, tacking on an interception and a fumble recovery. In Denver this time around while facing backup quarterback Easton Stick, the Broncos defense could have another strong outing.
