Broncos Defense Forces Another Three Turnovers
12 months ago

The Denver Broncos defense that surrendered a record-breaking 70 points to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 is long gone. Not only have they been much more stingy in terms of allowing points, but they've been opportunistic and have forced a whopping 12 turnovers in their last three games after recovering two fumbles and forcing an interception in their 21-20 Week 11 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night. In addition to the three turnovers that helped Denver win their fourth straight game, Denver's D sacked quarterback Joshua Dobbs twice despite allowing 385 yards of offense to Minnesota. They will need to continue to force turnovers to stay relevant as a streaming defense/special teams unit in fantasy, because they allow the most yards per game and rushing yards per game in the NFL. They'll have a nice matchup in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who will be making only his third career start.
