According to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (concussion) is anticipated to get cleared and start on Sunday versus the Bengals "if all goes as expected." The signal-caller practiced in full on Friday after being limited in Thursday's session, which is always a good sign. But for now, he's still questionable, although he's predicted to receive the green light by Saturday evening. Of course, Purdy's impending clearance means Sam Darnold won't be of use to fantasy managers. However, the same can be said for Purdy, who hasn't always looked the best during the 2023-24 campaign.
