Brock Purdy Cleared, Will Play In Week 8

According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (head) cleared concussion protocol and no longer carries an injury designation ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Bengals. The signal-caller was limited in practice on Thursday but fully participated in Friday's session, so he was moving in the right direction. Of course, this means Sam Darnold won't be of any value to fantasy managers. However, Purdy hasn't exactly been the most reliable option, so he's a risky fantasy play in Week 8 versus Cincinnati, even more so with Deebo Samuel (shoulder) sidelined.
