New England Patriots safeties coach Brian Belichick, the youngest son of former head coach Bill Belichick, is remaining with the team in 2024, according to a source. Brian Belichick has worked closely with new head coach Jerod Mayo in his role as the safeties coach the last four years, with Mayo previously referring to Brian as a "great coach." Brian's brother, Steve, has moved on to the University of Washington to serve as their defensive coordinator. The 2024 campaign will be Brian's ninth year with New England. He started as a scouting assistant in 2016 and coaching assistant (2017-19) before taking over the safeties. In addition to Brian Belichick, Alonzo Highsmith, who spent the last two years as general manager for the University of Miami, has joined the Patriots as a senior personnel executive.
