Brandon Staley Could Be Candidate To Run Dolphins Defense
10 months ago

Now that defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and the Miami Dolphins have mutually agreed to part ways, former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is available and would be a candidate to take over for Miami. If the Dolphins stay in house, the two logical candidates are linebackers coach Anthony Campanile and passing-game coordinator/secondary coach Renaldo Hill. Sean Desai and Kris Richard, who interviewed for the Dolphins' defensive-coordinator job last year, are still available and could be other candidates. In addition to Staley, another potential candidate could be former Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera and former New York Giants defensive coordinator Don "Wink" Martindale. Whoever succeeds Fangio will be the team's third defensive coordinator in the last three years and the seventh over a 10-year span.
