Brandon Aiyuk Meets Another Robust Pass Defense In Week 6
one year ago

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk will face a challenging Browns pass defense on Sunday in Cleveland. Last week he brought in four of seven targets for 58 yards as the 49ers routed a quality Dallas Cowboys pass defense. Although he didn't score a touchdown, Aiyuk was quarterback Brock Purdy's most targeted player and had a 40-yard catch negated on a holding penalty. Cleveland's pass defense has been statistically elite, ranking first in receiving yards per game allowed at 125 and tying for first in touchdowns to receivers at just one, albeit against mostly weak passing offenses. At this point in the season, Aiyuk has surpassed teammate Deebo Samuel in fantasy value according to consensus rankings. Fantasy managers should plug him into lineups as a borderline WR1.
