Brandin Cooks To Be Game-Time Decision
one year ago

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan that wide receiver Brandin Cooks (knee) will be a game-time decision on Sunday in a Week 2 contest against the visiting New York Jets. Jones added that Cooks doesn't need practice repetitions to be ready to play this weekend after being diagnosed with a sprained MCL this week. With Sunday's Cowboys game coming in the late-afternoon window, the 29-year-old Cooks becomes a pretty risky fantasy play in Week 2. He wasn't really needed in the season-opening blowout win over the Giants, catching two passes for 22 yards on four targets. If Cooks is out or limited against one of the toughest defenses in the league, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup will have bigger roles and Jalen Tolbert figures to start in the slot for Dallas.
