Bills To Interview Thad Lewis For Offensive-Coordinator Job
10 months ago

The Buffalo Bills plan to interview Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterbacks coach Thad Lewis for their offensive-coordinator job, according to a source. Lewis is expected to get other looks for offensive-coordinator positions around the league, too, based on his work with quarterback Baker Mayfield in 2023. He's in the mix for the same position with the Las Vegas Raiders. Lewis started five games for the Bills at quarterback in 2013 and threw for 1,092 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. He joined the Buccaneers' coaching staff in 2021 and was promoted to quarterbacks coach this past season. Joe Brady finished out the year as Buffalo's interim offensive coordinator and he's interviewed for the permanent position, but the team's search is ongoing.
