Bills Open Dawson Knox's Practice Window

The Buffalo Bills opened the 21-day practice window for tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) on Wednesday. It means the Bills now have 21 days to officially activate Knox from Injured Reserve. His status remains up in the air for Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills are hopeful that Knox will be able to return this weekend, but he hasn't played in a game since Week 7 and will need to prove he's ready in practices this week first. And even if Knox is activated from IR and available on Sunday, there's a good chance he'll have his snaps limited and will work well behind impressive rookie Dalton Kincaid at the tight end position. Given how well Kincaid has played in his first NFL season, Knox could take a back seat to the rookie for the rest of the season as a pass-catcher. UPDATE: Knox was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
