Bill Callahan To Join His Son In Tennessee
10 months ago

The Tennessee Titans hired Cleveland Browns offensive line coach Bill Callahan, the father of new Titans head coach Brian Callahan, as their new offensive line coach on Thursday. Bill Callahan has head-coaching experience with the Las Vegas Raiders and in college at Nebraska and led the Raiders to a Super Bowl appearance in 2002. He's been one of the top offensive line coaches in the NFL and served in that position with the New York Jets (2008-11), Dallas Cowboys (2012-14) and Washington Commanders (2015-19) before spending the last four years in Cleveland. His offensive lines have paved the way for nine 1,000-yard rushers. Bill and Brian Callahan will become the seventh father-son duo to be a head coach in the NFL. The addition of Bill Callahan will be good news for a Titans ground game that is likely to move on from Derrick Henry in 2024.
