Bengals Officially Put Joe Burrow On Injured Reserve

The Cincinnati Bengals officially placed quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) on Injured Reserve and elevated quarterback AJ McCarron from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move for Sunday's Week 12 contest against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. This move should come as no surprise to anyone, as Burrow is going to miss the rest of the season due to a torn ligament in his right wrist that he suffered in the Week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals will move forward with Jake Browning under center from here on out, and the coaching staff isn't planning on changing the offensive game plan all that much with the change in QBs. Fantasy managers in single-year leagues can safely drop Burrow from their rosters at this point.
