Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson has head-coaching interviews with the Carolina Panthers and Washington Commanders lined up for this Friday, according to sources. It will be a busy week for the coordinator, as he'll also be preparing to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday during the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Johnson is viewed as the favorite for the Panthers job and was also being viewed as the favorite for the Carolina head-coaching job last year before he announced he was staying in Detroit. The 37-year-old would become the youngest head coach in the league if he is hired by a team during this cycle. Johnson is one of the big reasons why the Lions were able to pull off their first postseason win in 32 years this past weekend.
